I was walking in the college library and this cute guy asked me for 10 or twenty bucks so he'd have enough money for Northeastern game or something. I was like "suure! ask someone else!" he said he asked the whole dorm(which I didn't believe).

He kept begging me and kept making eye contact with me. I said what would you give me back? he hesitated and I asked again. He said he'd give me his hat and I told him ok but you won't get your hat back until you pay me back and he agreed.

He's an aquaintance and gave him 20 bucks because he gave me his hat and he's cute and adorable.

Was this a stupid move to make or one of those "it's up to you"?

Thanks!

Stop giving ur little bit of money you need to make it. Frig the hat trade you could have gotten a new hat one that wasnt on his head. Stupid move, quit letting cute guys ur money , it probably was for drugs or something unnecassay. good luck in future. FINISH college with great grades/

One of those "it's up to you."
was the hat worth $20? if it was worth less you've probably brought yourself a $20 hat.
If it was worth $60 or more he might pay you back.

your letting him off having to take responsibility for his fiancial stuation

It's just 20 bucks, who cares...
But sounds like he's got your number if he begged that much

You should have asked for something more valuable than his old hat...maybe his shoes or something.

If he doesn't pay it back then it was a stupid thing to do.
