as they are on tv... like my favorite show... CSI .. do you think that if you were ever in trouble or being framed for something that our home town cops could prove you innocent .... I wander if our home town cops have a csi lab and the real sience and to prove you innocent in the amazing ways they do on tv....? ( silly i know but it sometimes seems like it could be real )

Some are, probably most aren't. I would think that after years on the beat that most cops are jaded and think of cases like a warehouse worker thinks of cases. There are proper ways to handle them, but they don't really care that much. If a police department can seemingly solve a case by (unknowingly) sending an innocent person up, it still looks like they did their jobs, as far as their superiors know. I truly believe that cops WANT to only get the bad guys, and I also believe that 99.9% of the people in prison belong there. Even the ones that got sent up by mistake likely have lengthy records, and should be locked up anyway. They RARELY send someone to prison for a first offense. A little advice: instead of watching TV, take a nice walk.
