As time passes are there things we should change and things we should keep from changing and do we sometimes get the two confused to the point where we're dead set against changing some things that we really should change and dead set on changing some things that we really shouldn't change, and should how we decide those things be based on preserving what will keep the world at least as good as it and keep it from getting worse and changing in what ways will make it better then it is without inadvernently making it worse as a side effect and we need to keep perspective for the right now and the distent future so we don't make changes that are good for right now but bad for the distent future, they'd need to be good in all time frames and shouldn't we take everyone, all human beings, lives and happiness, fates and fourtunes into consideration when thinking about it and we can't know all that stuff unless we truly know it accurately, in whatever way accuracy is accurately determined?

There are so many people who seem to hate Bush and America and what's going on, so why not just move somewhere else?

You ever realize that America is made up of people who were heavily oppressed by their own governments, so they took it upon themselves to make their own lives better? It wasn't always as easy as hopping on a boat for 3 weeks, suffering through lyme disease and influenza and waving to the Statue of Liberty as you unloaded at Ellis Island. A lot of people, like Soviet Russians or German Jews had to sneak out with risk of death, but still did it.

Yet, here you are, living in arguably the most "free" country in the world, and instead of making your life better by freely moving elsewhere, you just sit there and complain out it?

Anyways...

One of my friend's rich friend is sponsoring an orphan kid (clothes, education, other expenses etc.) without, ofcourse, affecting his own finances...but his girlfriend left him for that.

Is it a crime to help an orphan?

I skipped a friends wedding because of finances and incredibly bad timing (college graduation, finals). Now the baby shower is occuring and I REALLY want to go but the flights are so expensive and I am in a bad financial situation in terms of not having much extra spending money. Average flights are $350.
Is this a viable excuse, or will she be able to hate me forever if I do not attend the shower.

Yesterday I asked a question and I mentioned that many Blacks in America had Indian in them. You should of seen some of the comments that I got. I was told that I did not know my history – that if I did then it was only .0000000009, I was accused for asking for reparations – on and on. I also mentioned that I was in Oklahoma – which should of mad sense, since this is Indian Territory. I did not realize how bad the problem was. I have my Creek Indian card – My Grandparents still speak Creek (Muskogee) and so do many Blacks in Oklahoma and throughout the south. I just wanted to ask people if they have ever heard of the Black Indians or is it something that is really kept out of everyone’s history books? Thanks Here is some info for you – There is a wealth of info on the internet!

Why are so many people dumbing down their vocabulary? Do they realize when typing "dis" or "dat" and speaking like that it makes them sound uneducated and ridiculous? I can't stand it. It makes me wonder what is happening to society that they feel in order to be "cool" they have to speak like they're from the gutter and have never been to school!

I recently moved from L.A. to the midwest and cannot believe the difference in the quality of life. Sure, the sun doesn't shine everyday- but that's a good thing! Everything is easier, from raising kids (most suburban school districts are fabulous) to owning a wonderful home- all while working a normal job. But, old friends in L.A. don't believe it- they think I'm crazy for moving. What do you think?
