Popped into my local metal detector store yesterday morning and bought a fairly cheap model. I had only been on the beach for a couple of hours but by noon I had found 27 mobile phones, 83 sets of keys, 34 watches, umpteen wallets containing an assortment of notes and coins and various mp3 players and hifi's.
And my cheapo machine detected all of these items even though they were concealed beneath neatly folded piles of clothing and towels.
What fun. My local pawn broker has put me on his payroll.

I had just answered a question, and I was wondering, do people actually look at all of the the answers on the list, or do they just stop at the first couple answers and stop.

I have always thought that the job of a defense lawyer was to ensure you a fair trial, making sure things are presented to the court in a proper manner and that you get to defend yourself fairly. It seems to me that defense lawyers today feel that their job, above everything else, is to get whoever can afford astronomical fees off with any crime this person is accused of commiting. Forget proper court procedure, or that the client may just well be guilty, the ' game ' as they see it is get them OFF. To hell with whether or not they are guilty. You would think that a publicly funded lawyer without the burden of being a star in the courtroom just might let common sense back into the courtroom and justice actually be done.

I'm a 28 year old American male, 6-2, in very good shape, black hair, green eyes, educated, a house, a car, good job, and always monogamous in relationships. I have a lot of good qualities yet my relationships with American women never work out, I have come to the conclusion my best possible option to find a women to spend the rest of my life with is foreign. I just am not compatible with American women I guess and a mail order bride may be a good idea. But for some reason there seems to be a stigma against mail order brides. I know two very successful good looking friends of mine who went that route, one married a women from Thailand and the other from Venezuela. They have been married for over 10 years each, have families, and everyones as happy as can be. I'm envious of how happy they are and would like to do the same as them. I find that many foreign women are very beautiful, kind, sweet, caring and loyal. And please don't take that as me wanting a submissive women cause I don't, I treat women I'm with equality. So with that said why is their such a stigma against people who do this?

I have taken to wearing floral frock and headscarf combinations made from my mum's old curtains during the week, but have decided to have a change of clothing at the weekends. Have managed to find some smashing lederhosen for saturdays at my local charity shop but still unable to find a good clean habit for sundays to wear when I attend my yodeling class. Can you help?

communication with arabic speaking people allow the general public a better understanding of whats going in arabic countrys and such? It would be nice if talking to someone who can only type arabic was alot easyer then it is now with the awful translators for civilian use. I can hardly put together an understandable 3 word phraze with the best translators I have found on the net.

I mean, seriously, people get mad when I say this, but some whites can be quite racist (more than I seen displayed in other races) and they will give me a thumbs down just for telling the truth. Many people go "oh all kinds of people can sometimes be racist" well a "racist" black might just say "I dont care about you whites, im proud to be black" but a white says something like (arg I rly cant stand even imitating it) "blah, blah ,blah mudhole, monkeys, welfare." (see? I cant even say the real horrible things they say, it just hurts my heart) and talking about killing other races. An obvious different degree of racism. Its the most disgusting primitive thing ever. Like there from 10,000 years ago, racist whites. Im not saying other races are perfect or all white are bad (IN fact most whites are pretty nice) but the racist whites are the worst. If you dont believe me, just look around yahoo answers and you will realize im right.

I was at the ticket purchasing line to see Blood diamond the other day and there was a guy buying a ticket for himself.I made it a point of duty to see where he sat when the film started and noticed he was still alone. As it turned out he watched the entire film alone and left. I don't know why I felt sad. was not alone by the way, but I didn't share my thought with my friend.

Is going to see a film alone a weird thing?
is it sad in your opinion?

Do you like us despite the fact that we are terrifyingly good-looking and run around naked in public? Do you still tolerate our presence in your galaxy despite our vast ocean of power, intergalactic influence, and sheer force of superior noble character?

As you already know, there are some humans that hate other humans. How much more hate can be expected towards us, do you suppose, once we subjugate your planetary empire and impose our perfect noble rule upon every creature of flesh?

Your brother in flesh,

Lord Taorus the deep-handed

P.S. Serious answers only please. I am being serious. Do not test me. Thank you.

I think it is nice to have a face to put with an answer. Rather or not you look like your avatar it is a look you choose.

So did you go with the look you really have or something entirely different by choice?

FYI Mine looks a lot like me, just thinner... ideally thinner.
