I have never worn a veil in my life..but there are sometimes when I think it would be nice...
When I have a bad hair and I get a big spot on my nose :-( ..When my stomach feels bloated...Or I just can't be bothered putting make-upon..
Surely we have all had those times when we don't want anybody looking at us, and would rather be invisible??

And men too must be tired of the need to shave and keep up apperances..Wouldn't a veil be great for hiding that stubble?

Or to protect your face from the smog and pollution of modern cities.

I have NEVER commited a crime in my life, or plan to...but I get sick of all the constant surveilance and video crameras everywhere..That are like big brother in 1984..

I don't want anti-Muslim answers please..but I am curious if anybody else sometimes thinks IT WOULD BE NICE TO BE ABLE TO WEAR A VEIL IF YOU WANT TO(and some people make that choice)?

a whole bunch of people called in sick, and then realized how much fun it was to stay at home and watch TV, so it caught on. Is that right, because I have a test on Friday.

What would you do? The girl never answers her door, has a BF who visits all the time and is loud, and we've already written her a letter about the noise they make. Our manager is lazy and won't do anything. What would be some good revenge?

It is common in third world countries for parents to entrust orphanages to care for their children while the parent maintains custody and visitation, particularly when the mother of the child has passed away and the only parent is the father who must work outside the home.

So when the father of a little boy in Africa signed papers for pop queen Madonna to provide for his son, he thought he would still have parental rights and would get his son back once the child was older.

Now Madonna has taken the child and there is question as to whether or not she will be giving the child back to the father in Africa.

What do you think the right thing to do is in this case?

I am growing fond of the way Y! answers gets people talking.
My initial thoughts were that it is probably going to be used by big companies to get an inside view of consumer opinion. I'm still not convinced that this is not the case.

So ive known my roomate for 5-6 years. I thought moving in together would be fun. But our personalities are too different. She can't be alone ever, shes dependent and clingy. She talks about all my other friends and she doesn't even know them. She gets mad when i dont hang out with her. She bugs me when im trying to do my homework and gets mad when i tell her to let me finish it. Im just going crazy! I've tried to tell her she has been getting on my nerves and she just makes fun of me and talks about me to her friends. I've decided that I want to move out even though ill be breaking my lease and giving up $2000 rent money. I just was wondering what is the best way to handle the situation a letter or face to face. I know if i try to do face to face I will forget what i want to say. I just want to know if writing a letter is appropriate?

Instead of hearing women talk about great ideas they have, usually their conversations revolve around what they found on the clearance rack at Macy's or what they are wearing to a party, and how much tupperware they have.
