Every single citizen is responsible for the "leadership" they get.
You have a democracy, use it, demand it, enforce it.
Take responsibility and be causative instead of everyone just hoping somebody else will do this for them.
It doesn't work, and blaming the guy you elected isn't a solution.

The U.S. is a world power that is not going to fall any time soon. Fears like yours are started by idiots like Jerry Falwell for political manipulation.

A good example is the hysteria that followed 911. I don't say we should minimize the incident, or that we shouldn't be angry.

There is now beefed up security in places that have no realistic chance of being targeted by anyone. In my town, even some winky-dink office buildings reguire you to go through metal detectors or even empty your pockets.

People are afraid to fly. Do you realize how many thousands of AIRPLANES have gone through our skies without incident since 911? Thousands and thousands!

The whole thing is ment to scare people so they won't be able to think clearly. That way, they don't notice the politicians (who started the hysteria, via the media) AREN'T DOING JACK FOR WHAT WE PAY THEM.
