If you had to pick one, what would you choose?

A) Violent diarrhea lasting no less than 10 hours while on your honeymoon?

B) Uncontrollable vomiting in your car while driving to to meet your soon to be in-laws for the first time? (and you can't stop and change clothes)?

At the college I attend, it is only against the rules for a student to date a professor who is teaching a class he or she is currently enrolled in. I have developed a friendship with one of my professors and yesterday we were discussing a paper I had written. He suggested that, after the semester finishes, we could see each other in a non-academic setting. I am completely enamored with this man and would gladly date him, but I worry that the odds are against us in regards to a relationship. He is young for a professor, but is still twelve years older than I am. I worry that the stages of life that we are each in, respectively, are too different for us to maintain a relationship. I also worry that our families and friends would be less than understanding about our relationship due to the age difference. Is this situation worth pursuing even if it entails the possibility of becoming a pariah?

whenever i try to do things, i often do them all over again and again. for example, if iam trying to fix a bicycle chain, i do it perfectly the first time, but sooner i feel that i need to redo it again from the start, and i pull the fixed chain off and mess with it. the same happens with computer, when i dowload something for the first time, i remove it instantly fearing it's not proper. i redo everything, and don't always succeed and i regret first chance. how to overcome this problem?

They used to use them to take down small game and I believe even kangaroos. It consisted of 3 round weights (balls, stones) and string connecting them. They were tossed to either choke the prey or wind around their legs to prevent them from moving. What are these things called and can anyone give some sites about them (maybe Wikipedia?) Thanks in advance.

Is it a sign of our times, that we have to ask a question too strangers, hoping we will recieve some sort of an insight to our quiry... Or is it just that we have have got so far away from the ones that we love, that we dont appreiate there view. Families are not what the used to be, we all live so far away from one another. Even when we do live near, the generational gap can be an obstical. Do you agree.

Like when I read things or speak to people, I can't believe I can understand it. Everybody understands! If I say the word "dog" you'll totally know what it is. It's like a power or something.

They said it was because it was niether a question or an answer.

How ridiculous is that?

Anyway, I stated that it was an offensive word and that no one should use it.

I also stated how tired I was of the complaints (how come they can say it but we cant?)

What do you think of this?

i am curious to know about people in general. so if you could all do my a favor it would be appreciated. Type 2 sentences about a secret you have, or something shocking you have done. BUT! - Make 1 of the sentences false, the other 1 true. Don't make it obvious which one you made up, and do NOT tell which is the truth and which is the lie.
