It could be a good reason. As far as some women and i know of a few who have never worked a day in their life and have either lived off a man or lived off the state. Really sad but some women are soooooo lazy but I guess they just have no pride. I feel sorry for alot of men because there are some nasty women out there but it is alot of mens faults as they tell the women they don't have to work and I think both should work but also share in the household chores too. It should be 50/50 in this day this isn't the early 1920's this is 2006 but some women think once they get married working is all over.......WRONG! I don't respect a woman who doesn't work and when I hear of a woman that doesn't work I go into shock because most people do!

No, it is probably b/c either they haven't met the right person and/or they are not ready for a commitment. I don't think alimony should be abolished, especially when a woman has set aside her own career to stay home and raise the children and take care of the household and host and/or attend social gatherings that further her husband's career, only to have him divorce her and be left with no work experience and no money.

I think the reason most men aren't marrying is because marriage was once considered sacred; once you were married you stuck with him or her! Now a days the divorce rate is over 50% which means you have a better chance of your team winning the game! Alimony wouldn'd be a problem if more marriages stayed together!

Alimony? I don't think so!
With 90% of young women throwing sex at every male they see why would the male want marriage?
Where is courtship or just getting to know a person before it's hands on?
I hear in America that free sex from girls starts on School busses to grade schools - eeek! How degrading for those wee girls and how their lives will forever be negatively affected.

Unless they want legitimate children, there is no reason for men to get married anymore...
