So im sitting in class oneday and a black friend made a comment about my race. So i made one back at him. He seemed more offended then I did. So I ask him "whats the problem" He answers me "you can't say that my people are oppressed."
I then explained to him that my people (irish catholic) have suffered more than the africans. After all we have been persecuted for 600 years as opposed to there 250. Also, our persecution continues today. So tell me your thoughts on this subject. And if whether or not you think that people can't say things about black people.

that is predominately White, the white people start to move out? We live together and normally when we have a huge fight he makes me get all my stuff together and tells me to go home. Well, normally I'm there for a fight, but this time, I was at work and the fight started with him and his brother (who also lives with us). The fight was basically over the fact that I live with them without paying rent, (just cleaning and buying groveries....which was our original agreement....but when I lost my GOOD job, (which they knew about) and I had to start waitressing, all I could afford was to clean). I discussed this with my boyfriend (not his brother though) and my boyfriend said it would be ok if I just cleaned because he liked me living with him. Well, tonight when I was at work, him and his brother got into a fist fight about the whole situation and when I came home, he told me to get my things and leave. I did without talking or crying and just left. As soon as I pulled away, my boyfriend ran out and pounded a dent into my car. I just left.
