Hi

I'm losing my job due to calling in sick too much. I've been fatigued.

My rheumetologist diagnosed me today with Lupus.

He brought up that I should look into Disability/Social security benefits to support myself.

I am in Indiana. does anybody know how much per month you get? I know nothing about this

I found this from another poster and remember reading this about 10 years back. Its from nostradamus. Does anyone see a coincidence or prediction?

I don't know if any of you believe in the prophecies of Nostradamus but I've given up on all the political logic leading to ww3. There's been many instances in the past which could have escalated into world war 3. But if you believe in the antichrist and Nostradamus' prophecies, you might have heard the quote above about "the king of terror" wearing a blue turban. The king of terror will be manipulated by the Antichrist himself to cause WWIII. And if anyone was watching CNN today, wasn't Hassan Nasrallah, the Hezbullah leader who started the whole thing wearing a "blue turban"?

They throw their trash over the fence in my parents yard, and allow the children who live there all 7 of them to ride their bike on my parents front yard. My dad works very hard to keep his yard nice. The people next door also like to climb over the 6 foot fence to look around my parents yard at night. They also have pornographic pictures hanging in the garage, which they leave open. My mother tired talking to them and they told her to go to hell.What can my parents do to stop these things and or get even?

Unless one of your parents was actually born in Africa, why be African-American or unless one of your parents was actually born in an asian country why be Asian American? My ancestors came from Europe. Can I be considered European-American? Personally, I prefer just to be an American. But it's funny to me how this works. Just curious about what others may think.

What is wrong with America??? I cannot believe that people are throwing a fit over this beautiful picture of a mother feeding her child! What is the big deal? Seriously? Does anyone else feel this picture is pure, and beautiful? I do. There are some people that feel that this picture has sexual condentations to it. I don't see it. All I see is a woman and her beautiful child. What do you see?

that you can float above your house and look down and see how small it looks, then float higher above your city and notice how many other citys are near by and they all look the same- then float higher and notice how encompassing the continents really are. then float into outerspace looking down at earth and it just looks like any old ordinary map on the wall--- now envision yourself an alien creature travelling thru the galaxy looking down on earth with a look of disgust - and realize how insignificant we truly are in the greater scheme of life

I've heard that there are more women graduating from college than men nowadays. This confirms what I've always known to be true: that gender equality is impossible, because interpersonal dynamics require one gender or the other to be dominant.

I feel that there are 2 reasons for the change in college graduation:

1. There are tons of self-help groups and scholarships for women, but not for men.
2. The anti-male attitudes and norms in many colleges and universities.

Challenging these anti-male attitudes is clearly important, but I have another idea. How about creating scholarships and financial assistance programs specifically for men?

Am I the only person in the universe who'd like to b*tch slap these people? I mean, every day I'm confronted with these images of those poor, underprivalged kids in foreign countries, and all I can think of is how much I want to slap the deacon showing me.

I mean, it is sad, and there is something to be done, but all I can think of is the little girl down the street from me who has nothing but a dead-drunk mother and an empty stomach, a little girl *I* take care of most of the time, and then they want me to adopt nineteen little famine children as well.

The local church generates enough money to support these kids a few times over, and they send missionaries over to experience the 'horror' firsthand, and they accept donations, but only about a fifth of the money actually makes it over...does this make any sense?

I tell the churches to stop buying all those huge crucifuxes and start feeding those kids, implement sex ed. classes...

Nothing.

Anyone else feel this way?
