One question to which there are many answers. Assuming that we survive as a species in the next six to seven years of this current timeline, humans will have the opportunity to evolve into a more spiritually evolved species. A humankind that is more conscious of who we are, what our purpose is and where we belong in the grand scheme of the Universe. However there is always the possibility that at the current rate of our technological advancement we will destroy ourselves because our spiritual aspect (not religion) as a collective whole have not been cultivated enough to match our technologies I believe that technology and spirituality must go hand in hand because without spirituality to guide where our technology is going we are inevitably doomed. If we do make it through and beyond 2012 then I feel that Earths humanity will set out to be what it was always meant to be, magnificient beings capable of many wonders and many miracles. Two roads lie ahead of us. One leads to a new dawn for man the other leads to total and utter destruction. I still have hope that the latter will be the path we follow.

Man will continue to pollute the environment like yeast in corn mash, making life on earth for man unlivable. The earth will warm, climate will become hotter, crops will not be viable because they are all hybridized and when the water rises and there are a two billion refugees looking for land and food there will be devastating viral epidemics as well as food wars.
Cockroaches will rule the world and some will call themselves Evangelicals and some Sunnis. New species will mutate to adapt to the warmer earth and the first new species to use verbal communication will call our planet "Hell".

Development of the Noosphere (cf. Teilhard de Chardin). A "glowing" envelope of spiritual energy around the globe, which we may and will all grow to reach, connecting all people mentally. People discovering we are evolution become conscious of ourdeepself, as the main reference in everyday life.

If life was to continue beyond 2012, which I dont feel it will, evolution would come by way of genetic alteration, which is how the current human was designed.

technology will come to be as advanced as the human brain, and stem cell research will be so that you can create any kind of being with any level of intelligence or creativety that you want. Electricity, as we take for granted today, will be a thing of the past. All electricity and other types of energies will come to a past and organisms produced by humans will take their place as the brain and organic structure and any living thing can be modified to serve any purpose.
