I've heard a lot of girls say to me they rather have male freinds,but when I ask them why they would say its a girl thing or it was too complicated to answer then explain.Why don't most girls get along with other girls,I thought girls were real close and everything.What am I saying I don't understand women,and I don't think I ever will! So whats going on between most girls not getting along?

I do! I just think it's awful
that people have a phone
attached to their ear, and
inside that telephone is a
computer with music, email,
a camera, a mapping system,
games, and who knows what else.

Do humans not want to interact
with humans anymore?

This man & I attended the same places as children, but I never really knew him. Since I moved here we again attend many of the same functions. He is married with a nice wife & family. I am usually with friends, but if I am alone for one second, he pops up and starts telling me how beautiful I am etc. He tries to touch me. It is creepy and I don't know what to do. I could never tell his wife.
He can change in a second. Just recently he caught me alone for
a second and was saying all of this stuff, some one came in and he was instantly Mr. Righteous. I think he has a mental problem. We live in the same town & I am frightened of him. I just don't know how to handle it. I have told him I don't like it, but he just keeps doing it.

I have been wrongfully terminted based on pregnancy before and not looking to lose my job again. I am a single mother and I already lost my apartment due to wrongful termination based on my employers. They don't come right out and say thats the reason but since I said I was pregnate I got fired at one job.I worked 2 days at one place and one day on another. I am layed off either because I am too slow or something ridiculous like that. I am at a job now and I want to know if they have to know I am pregnate..If I have to discuss my medical information with them if I don't want to. I want to know my rights cause it has been hell since I found out I was pregnate. My boyfriend after one year dumped me when he found out I was pregnate with his child and being laid off over and over again has proven it impossible to pay bills like rent exc.... Do I have any rights....? Sorry if I am bitching.It's been hard 5 monthes pregnate and starting to show.

Do we need the biggest house, the most prestigious car, etc? Do we need to keep up with the Jones' and do them one better? Air conditioning, cell phones, etc. I've got them all too but do I honestly need any of it? People lived for thousands and thousands of years without any of our modern conveniences-how?. What would happen if we didn't have any of this stuff, could American society still exist? Do we really need all this "stuff?" Is that all our society is- the pusuit of "stuff?" Are most Americans drowning in debt, working endless hours to "provide a better life," etc.? Is society really better off now with all this material goods and trappings available to us? Just wondering (and ranting) what others think.
