I've noticed that several people feel that black women are unattractive. As a black woman, I strongly disagree. Is it our curves? Our lips (which some people spend dearly to get thier lips done) Our breasts and backsides (breast/butt implants) Our smooth brown skin (tanning salons) Our hair (by the way, my hair is 100% natural and long) What is it?

I remember hearing somewhere that they have the technology to create a pill that a man can take to prevent his sperm from fertilizing a woman, but no company is willing to make them because they don't believe there is a market. Do you think they're correct in feeling that men would not take such pills? Why do you think that is? Do you think it's fair that it's usually up to the woman to provide the birth control?

after being with my boyfriend for about a year, i just lost my sex drive, or maybe i just didnt fancy him anymore. the whole time he let me know that he was bothered by it, and would ask me what was wrong, and was really upset. he would compliment me all the time, tell me how beautiful and sexy i was etc., but there was just nothing i could do about it, i just couldn't force myself. well things carried on like that for quite a while, and one night he stayed out and when he came home he confessed he'd had a one night stand. we managed to work through it, and stayed together. strangely shortly after that i seemed to want him in that way again, and things were ok for maybe 6 months, but since then now it's him that has lost his sex drive. i know some of you will say 'oh he's cheating' but really, i know he's not. he works all day with friends of mine and comes straight home afterwards so i guarantee i would know. it's not that so what do you think it is? now i want it and he doesn't!

Please don't take this the wrong way but surely you Americans would find better, more accurate and pertinant answers to your questions on the American version of Yahoo Answers?

I could understand it if you were asking questions about the UK and Ireland or issues involving us but, for example, a question the other day about marriage licenses in the US - why would you expect us to know that?!

And to be fair, it isn't just Americans, there are other nationalities, it is just there are more of you than most. So WHY are you here?

I am scared to leave my apartment. I am a single girl living alone in a kind of bad neighborhood. Yesterday 3 black guys and a white guy all decided that hitting on me was a good i dea...the white guy is my neighbor, so i had to be nice, hes my neighbor, i dont want any problems. But ever since yesterday him and his black friends have been walking into my apartment building knowcking on my door, waiting for my car to be home to ring my buzzer. Ever since I was in High School i've always loved older men. My father is in my life, so its not like im looking for a father figure. But I just don't know why I am attracted to older men. And when I say older, im 24 and I like guys that are usually btwn their mid 30s to early to mid 40s. For some reason, younger guys don't do it for me. Why?

When you kill 99.9% of bacteria you leave .1% of superbacteria which means you'll have a whole lot of resistant bacteria in a matter of hours. Polio became so rampant only because we got better sewers. I'm not advocating going back to raw sewage, but there has to be a balance. Some antibacterial drugs are so strong they virtually kill the person in order to eradicate the infection.

They are more prolific than any other virus and are wiping out animals, ocean life, trees, fossil fuels, etc at a faster pace than any other virus, natural disaster or catastrophic event in history ever has.

Why do people have to be so nasty to each other?
Especially now, in this era of the information highway, why do people, as a general rule, forget that the people they're talking to on-line aren't just programs, but real people with real opinions and real emotions?
I feel so bad for the little kids who are born into this world. They're being born into a world where everyone is so jaded that we can't even go ten minutes without hearing about how some lady drowned her children in the bath or how some guy is a child molester or whatever.

Just why?

Why is there so much hurt and injustice in this world?

Why does this world have to be so wrong? Why does there have to be so much sadness and anger and everything else?

Why can't we just be gentler to each other?

Why can't people just.. be nice to each other?

Seriously.
