This is a actually a good philosophical question. In fact the idea has a name in philosophy and it is called Solipsism. It is something that philosopher from ancient Greek times have considered and famous philosophers like Descarte considered. I don't look at it the way you do,but I KNOW the world revolves around me.MY world.I mean,when I die,the world will cease to exist to me,therefore,it does revolve around me.You are the center of your own world,no matter how you look at it.Everything that happens to you,well,happens to you.It's not being self-centered,just logical.Everyone's world revolves around them.No,I don't think I imagined everything.That would be saying I am my own god,and I'm not going to go that far with it.

Maybe you are not really separate from the universe, maybe you are just perceiving the combo of atoms to be "arm" or "leg" with part of the universal consciousness.

when i was younger i thought that the world was a dollhouse, and throughout the "owners" day we were asleep, and at the owners night we continued living, odd but it makes you think. i have thought the exact same thing as you, i agree.
