They did not listen in the old days either, they were just more subtle in the way they refused things they did not want to. Today, they are more brash and just tell you to get lost.

First I think you need to understand that a woman is not a animal, who you can train to do as told. I am a stay at home mom, and wife to a wonderful man who is in the Army, and deployed most of the time. I respect him so I listen to him and try to respect his wishes. However he does the same for me, its give and take 50/50. Both sexes need to quit trying to be in control. You long for the olden days, well the women of the olden days, were strong women, who worked beside their husbands, not behind them. Husbands and wives depended upon each other, and had respect for what each others roles were. I think if you want to find a woman with old fashioned values, and they are out there still, then you need to see then as people not objects.

The olden days were more of a myth than you realize.The men technically had control,but you cannot be married and be totally in control. IE everyone talks about what a great president Roosevelt was during WW2.Guess what?His wife ran the country most of the time using his signature.She did a great job too.

Why don't men do what they're told anymore. In case you didn't notice, women are just like men but tougher. We are PEOPLE, not SLAVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are a chauvinist. Without women, you would not have been born, and we often say NO to getting pregnant because we dont want to create more sexist pigs!

The same reason why men don't do everything that we would like for you all to do. First of all women are not pets so maybe if you got a dog that would help.

Actually, I can only speak for myself, but I definitely listen to my husband.
Then again, most women will listen to an intelligent, mature, real man.
It's not happening for you??? Maybe you need to look inside yourself.
My husband is the only man that makes me want to be a good woman, so there has to be something to that. he adores me and speaks to me with respect, even if he's upset or bothered. he knows that his say is the final. He's not an ogre, and he always is considerate to me and my feelings. I'd do anything for him/.
I bet you could get this to happen for you, but you have got to be willing to be a good man. Alot comes with that title.
