Ever since I was in High School i've always loved older men. My father is in my life, so its not like im looking for a father figure. But I just don't know why I am attracted to older men. And when I say older, im 24 and I like guys that are usually btwn their mid 30s to early to mid 40s. For some reason, younger guys don't do it for me. Why?

Everyone is wired differently. It's not anything bad, it's just that some guys are better looking than others to you. And the guys that are better looking happen to be a bit older. It's just a kink. Everyone's got one. Maybe it's because you're mature for your age and are looking for someone with the same mental capacity. Maybe it's because you've been hurt by younger guys in the past. Heck, maybe there's no reason at all and it's just the way you are! Whatever the reason or lack thereof, just find someone you love and who loves you back. Because after a certain age, it doesn't really matter.

I'm the same way. I am 19 and i like this guy whom is 30 almost 31. younger guys bug me. I really do agree with what Farly the Seer said "Because older guys are wiser, more experienced, already successful, and we know how to treat a woman. Lots of respect, no drama, no games. In other words, we're men, not boys. "

I wish I could answer that. I was the same way....with women.
When I was in college I was messing around with ladies in their late 30's to mid 40's.
Now I'm 45, and I had to change my outlook. After all, if that fact was still true I would be with 60 year olds. I don't even think so!
My motto was always "Older women not only know what they want...they're not afraid to get it".

I like older men because they are more stable than the boys my own age. When I was younger, I mean. An older man usually knows what he's doing, he doesn't fumble around. I enjoy the confidence of an older man.

I don't think women who want to have a relationship without the drama and other crap that comes with younger guys, would turn around and date the youngster. Older men have done all their playing and want to prove their stability to someone who is receptive (younger women). I never liked girls my age, because they were airheads. I've had women tell me the same thing about the guys today; they're airheads. That's why I know the women are telling me the truth (because I went through it, myself). Younger women are soft and full, still. As they get older, they tend to let themselves go. My significant other is almost as old as I am and she is really nice looking still. I take care of myself, still have a six-pack. I know females like that fact (that I didn't let myself go). As far as your question goes; you prefer maturity over someone who doesn't know his head from his butt. There is nothing wrong with that (your preferrence). I liked dating older women because I could get away with sh*t, pleading ignorance and youth. And, I liked the fact that they were independent; they had jobs. Younger women tend to get lazy (not all of them, just a few of you). Do you find yourself doing that? It's ok, because we can deal with it. It will lead younger guys to strive to better themselves (and attend college, do something with their life).

I'm with you, I recently turned 25 and I've been dating older guys since I was in high school. I can't explain it either, but I do know one thing the sex is great.

I think you may like them because there is a maturity level there that you may not find in younger guys, a sensitivity to things you are experiencing ( becuase they have already been there) and a general sense of knowing who they are. We all have to go through those stages to reach that level..:)

maybe the younger guys seem to act like juvenile delinquents to you and you like the maturity of the older men.
