I'm not gay myself but have close friends and relatives who are and I'm disgusted at the judgemental attacks made on gay people asking genuine questions. Is it any different from racism?
I live in Australia and most people I know would find this kind of judgement abhorrent - and they are from all walks of life and ages. Do I live in a Utopian society or do we just get a very small sample of the attitudes of other countries here?

People have told me each drop represents someone the person killed. I find that hard to believe since I get so many customers with those tattoos at my job.

"He is not here right now, do you want me to go run him down?"
(would they take "run him down" to mean "run him over" or "find him")

"See you later, alligator" which sometimes sounds like "Seylagtar" when I say it.
(what would they think being called "alligator")

I basically want to know how much I can talk like I normally do, when I go there one day, and be understood....

Should I stick to plain and simple English?

If you sit next to someone on a crowded train, how long do you wait to switch seats when a row of seats becomes available, whereby you wouldn't have to sit next to the person?

get a job, drink alcohol, tobacco, or other drugs. 13 and 14 year old are old enough to work, there are lots of jobs that don't require hardly any intelligence. in america you can get jobs even if you don't know english.

I do not fear death, yet I do enjoy life, is this some type of contradiction or do these two states go together naturally?
