One of my grandparents died recently and my brother and I have been charged with sorting through his stuff. My brother has literally just come downstairs after sorting an old pile of boxes and has in his hand a Webley .455 service issue revolver, which I'd imagine would still shoot.

I know it was my grandfathers as he showed me it when I was a kid but I hadn't seen it in nearly 20 years until now. I'm pretty sure it fires and there is ammuntion with it.

What the hell do I do with the thing? If we got it deactivated (handguns are illegal in the UK) are they going to question how I walked in with a live handgun? If I handed it in to the police would I never see it again?!

My husband and I are having a marriage battle with eachother. I am 56 yrs old and he is 30yrs old. He feels he can have his group of friends including single women and lie to me (because I would not understand) and keep them hidden from me. As he knows all my friends and everything I do. What am I doing wrong? Is this alright in his age group? My kids are his age and they love for me to be around their friends. But he says I would not get along with his. Help me!

I live under the most annoying people in the world, if i was in my own country i would go up there and give them what for but they don't speak my language.they can't manage to pick their feet up when walking they are always shuffleing around always banging god only knows what they are building up there they have a new born baby which didn't annoy me at first but i think something is wrong with him when he cries he sounds like hes in pain. late at night u hear them filling up buckets. i did complain about them but nothing has got any easier so i started playing my music loud to drown out the noise but THEY complained about me! i don't think i'm being unreasonable i just want to be able have a bit of peice of quiet when i'm at home i work in a school so have to listen to 2000 kids all day.

Anyone have this issue? It's kind of funny in a way. I have a 17 year old and I can say to him "you can drive me to work and pick me up and you can keep the car for the day" and he'll then leave me a note asking me if he can do this that evening when he gets home from work. So, then his girlfriend - I let her use the car yesterday too. Before she left I said "oh, if the car says it doesn't have any gas, it is lying as I put $20 in a few minutes ago" -- she even said "okay" as if to acknowledg me - she knows the gauge isn't working all the time. She gets in the car, calls me from her cell phone and tells me the gas light came on!! Now, it's not as though we dont' have a good relationship or anything as we all do but is there some kind of brain damage (like Bill Cosby said in young children) with teens between 16-18? These are smart non drug using kids too!!! I'm just left shaking my head - and laughing a little.
