Mythology & Folklore - May 2007

Why is it that people who claim that they have been witches all their lives or whatever equate the religion with the practice of magic or witchcraft?? THEY ARE NOT THE SAME THING!!!! The religion is about gods and goddesses and a set practice and dogma. It's a religion for cryin outloud! Witchcraft is feeling the world around you. It's being one with it. It's listening, it's understanding. It's magic, but only in the sense that magic happens naturally within the world around us every day whether we notice it or not and will continue to do so long after we have turned to dust in the wind.

Also, why do people associate Wicca (which is a modern religion) with the practices of the ancients?? They are NOT THE SAME! Granted, Wicca gets most of it's traditions from celtic beliefs, but the celts were not the only people on the earth that followed a path other than christianity and such.

I wonder at times about this, simple, I have a serious sex drive, I have sex everyday of the week all day wen it's available. Otherwise I masturbate a lot, wen I do'nt get it I am so hard it hurts (it really does). Self control is a hell of thing, gotta do it anyways. Hence would I be considered a nymph?

ok, i'm a night person myself so i always stay up very late doing my assignment, there's always this black cat appear infront of my window and kinda bow to me, afterward it will kinda look into my eyes and runaway again. ok i know it's a bit silly but i feel so wrong everytime the cat do that to me...

i was driving on 9W near Alpine in NJ at 3 in the morning past weekend wheere i saw a 2 red gleaming lights and heard extremely high pitch sound. then i actually saw this thing fly on top of my car when i was driving 90 mph... i am so freaked out... have u guys seen it?
