Learning online is not the best way as there is a lot of misinformation as well as the fact you cannot learn everything over the internet. Also, magic is NOT a religion as one person claimed above and magic has no colours. Magic is neutral in essence; a mixture of good and bad making it neutral so it is really neither one nor the other. Magic used solely for malevolence or ill will is the branch of magic called the Dark Arts. However, you are a beginner so need not worry about that since even the darkest wizards started out neutral before choosing evil. If you like, I could help you; by giving you some advice and recommending some good books to read as well the necessary equipment to purchase in order to practice and enhance your knowledge of magic. Magic is wonderful when used constructively and us few that are born with this gift are truly blessed.

You don't learn magic online. You learn it from the world around you. You study technique and traditions. You can either do that online or with books, but the best way to do it is to find a teacher. Someone who's been following a path close to what you want to follow for quite a long time and can teach you more than you will ever learn in any book. But online is not the place to learn a religion if that's what you're looking for.

You are not crazy, but you do not learn magic online. I wish I could tell you it is that easy. I have mentored young witches who have all kinds of misinformation from online 'experts'. WOW! One actually saw so much evil in my personal crystal ball that I had to go back and see what it was she saw. No one told her that magic has two paths. We have worked very hard on that since then. I think it is very hard for a teacher to undo what a 'wannabe' does, don't you? Find someone who is far along the path of white magic and learn from them. Most will share their gift willingly if you only practice white magic. Good luck, dear.

You would go to the same place offline - nowhere. I challenge you to be very skeptical if you persue this and compare different sources i.e. you'll read in one place that rosemary is essential to a love potion but in another that thyme is... basically it's all made up.
