It could mean any number of things. It depends on what you were doing at the time. A note to all you answerers: if you want to give answers about eye problems and such, maybe you should look under health for questions. I believe she would like a more imaginative answer.

Did you clean the white spots of toothpaste off your mirror first? Lol... Sorry, I would say it might be something wrong with your eyes, having 'perfect vision' would have nothing to do with it if it was.... Sometimes you just get this when you look directly into a bright light, and some are more sensitive to it than others Kay

My guess is that you're looking at dust reflected in the ambient light of the room you're in. If this condition is constant, get to an opthamologist as you may have problems with your retinas.

I had this happen once. Mine weren't just specks though, they were definitely little white balls with a sort of golden skin. It was right after I finished meditating. My friend said it was more of my spirit coming down to me.

Could be a detached retina or a retinal bleed. Go to an ophthalmologist ASAP!

Is it almost like tunnel vision? If so, it may be a medical problem, not a mythological one. That's what I experienced just before I found out I had diabetes.

Dust particles reflecting light, or eye problems would be my guess, but it also could be neurological.

You will not see these as evidence of 'ghosts.' These are called orbs and are only found on film...and usually turn out to be dust.

It could mean that you have a slight tear in your retina. If it continues go see your eye Doctor.

You probably damaged the retna in your eye, you could possibly have a scratched eye and you should go to the doctor so they can repair it.
