Yes I think computers will take over the world, they are just too smart already..

We already use "machine robots" for a lot of our deeds. Look at the Cruise Missile. We program it and send it on it's way. Does a good job. We have lots of other things that go about their way....the ICBM....once launched guides its self to the target. What the military lets you see is only the tip of the iceberg as to what we really have and can use. As far a "men" robots running through the mud shooting at other robot soldiers.....I doubt that will ever happen. Pops

Maybe one day but as we may well lose that one I think I'll join the robots. Mind you many of us live like robots so would that mean we end up having a war with our own kind? Hang on.. we already do that.

No, I think we are going to BECOME machines. We've already created primitive artificial intelligence. As soon as we can create powerful enough machines (likely nanites) to have conciousness, and then after that, emotion, then we will be able to raise a generation of machines after us. But I think we will also seek to download our memories into these machines and live forever.

If it ever happens, it won't be for quite awhile yet and being prepared now would be meaningless.
