Any good stories of seeing ghosts?

I see spirits all the time - usually when I'm under the influence. Seriously, most people who claim to see ghosts are going through a specific mental trauma at the time and they can't be trusted.

I saw my first ghost at age 5 with my younger brother David and my sister has also seen the same figure of a woman at our grandparents house. I have seen other apparitions and I can tell you truthfully for me I have never shrugged anything off. Spirits, ghosts or whatever you choose to call them are real. I have captured a few apparitions with my digital camera also. Did not see anything in my camera until I downloaded pics onto my computer and there they were.
I had an awesome couple of pictures that I captured on my camera and my brother's girlfriend Sharon W. destroyed them both on the pics I printed out and on my computer and on CDs that I had burned. I just said about all that is what goes around, comes around.
I still have some pics though that were not cruefully destroyed.
I can honestly say they do exsit and I don't like I said shrug anything off. I belong to an awesome Paranormal Group and within this group are other pics and we have lots of EVP's also. Maybe now you won't shrug anything off to quickly now. Just accept we do share the same space with them and just tell them to go to the light.
I liked what the one answer from the dude who lives in Germany and saw his Grandmother. I expect she was just wanting to see him one more time and to say a kindof good-bye to him before she went to the light. My brother David came to see his 6yr. old son after he died. And, I believe that he has gone into the light now and is with my parents and one of his nephews and my brother-inlaw who both passed away last year.

There is particular tree in Wayanad,Kerala,INDIA.A person had discovered the route to Wayanad.His idea was taken by the British(then ruling government).The route was constructed and he was killed.Then his ghost roamed over that place,and cars were thrown from the cliff.His spirit was bound to tree by some rituals. Then a chain was bound around that tree.

HERE'S THE MOST INTRESTING PART! -
The hundred year old rusted chain has not yet broken and
is still mysteriously growing with the tree.
AND i'm not lying,I've seen the CHAIN.

I am 37 years old and have seen a lot of things, most of which no one believes I've seen. The most recent to happen was just a couple of months ago. I woke up around 2am and saw a shadowy figure of a large built man standing at my bedside apparently just staring at me. The next night my fiance woke to the same figure; however, the man was actually bent down directly over my fiance's face. My step-father said that a man died in our house...

I was over my girlfriends house waiting for here to come downstairs, her mother an I were in the kitchen . Her mother was sitting facing me and saw a strange look on my face. Her mother said I know why you are looking like that. You just saw my sister's ghost and she was wearing a purple gown. I was really surprise because this is exactly what I had saw.

yes, several years ago I was driving back home thru kingston lacy in dorset, I'd just started driving thru the avenue of trees, it was about 11.30 pm, a car was driving towards me on the other side of the road with his lights on and in front of the car I could see a man but only from the waist down, running backwards and forwards across the road and then the car drove thru it.
Two or three years ago I bought my nan a new remote control for her tv, when I was kneeling on the floor next to her, showing her how to use it, my grandads spirit walked behind me and I could see him out the corner of my eye. He'd never lived there so I guess he was hanging around waiting for her, and she died not long after.

I saw something once. It was a woman standing below a banking. She had a piece of straw in her mouth and was wearing a straw hat. As I walked nearer to her , she vanished.
I was only about 7 at the time but I remember feeling very frightened...Especially When it dawned on me that the woman didn't seem to have any legs.

I have been visited a couple of times. Recently I was in bed and saw someone in a night gown standing at my door checking in on me. Yell to ask my mother, whose house I was at, what she was doing checking on me. She then informed me that she had not been close to my room. It is my grandmother and when things get stressful she always seems to be there to let us know that she is watching over us and everything is going to be ok. You have to be open to ghosts to be visited because if you are close minded you will never see on.

when i was 3... my parents moved into this house.... they were cleaning out the attic.... they found a picture of a man in a casket... (in the old days.. people took pictures at the wake)
their friend who was helping them made fun of the pic....
shortly after... they started seeing shadows passing in the corner of there eye.. their bed wood shake at night.... and the walls would sweat horribly....... my mother was afraid to stay in the day by herself.... the shadow would follow her through each room..... we only lived in the house for 3 months....
and in that time... my cousin died on a motorcycle, my grandfather died of a heart attack and my brother who was 4 months old passed away......... all these deaths were related to my mother..... was something working against her and her emotions? always wondered.......being as small as i was... i dont remember seeing anything... but guessing i have.... i have always been a believer of ghosts
