The main symbol of Wicca and Witchcraft is the pentagram, the five pointed star which represents the 5 elements, earth, air, water, fire and ether/spirit.
Another one which can be used is the triquetra which is a Celtic design with three points which represents the triple goddess, the mother, maiden and crone, it used to be used in Christianity to represent the father, son and holy spirit. If you've ever watched Charmed the triquetra is the symbol on the book of shadows.
There are other symbols which can be used in Wicca which represent different Gods and Goddesses, seasons, elements and can be used in spells. There are many symbols but the one mst linked with Wicca and Witchcraft is the pentagram.
Hope this helped!

As a Wiccan there are many symbols we use.. The most common being the Pentagram... This is a symbol of protection.. The 5 pointed star is very important to us for many reasons...To me it represents the 4 elements, with the 5th and top point representing the Ether... It is encompassed by a circle which to me represents the Universe..Other people and traditions may have a different interpretation, but this is mine...

I where an Ankh which is an Egyptian hieroglyph, it means sevearl thing including linking the body to the spirit (earth and soul), fertility, and the eternal life. It was a common symbol amongst the "hippies" in the late sixties and early seventies when I first wore it! The pentagram was generally saved for special occassions at that time.

samanthawood1 the pentagram is not the symbol for witchcraft, as witchcraft is magic practiced by witches, therefore magic has no overall symbol. There are many magical symbols. Wicca is NOT the same as witchcraft and magic has little relevance hear as the asker was talking of religious/spiritual matters not magical matters.
The symbol of my religion is an equilateral triangle composed of three smaller triangles; symbolizing The Three Golden Goddesses of the religion.

Although not really a symbol for my religion as much as a personal symbol ,the wheel cross (sun cross, solar wheel, and many other names) is a symbol that has been a very important symbol to me since I was a child. I've always been drawn to it. It helped me to learn the name of my closest deity (Taranis). I especially like the symbol with four spokes. It was used in various ancient cultures. I usually have a pentagram pendant around my neck and hidden under my blouse at all times. I see it as a protection symbol and a reminder of my faith to give me hope when I am faced with my reality in this life time.

A Möbius strip entwined with a book and a pentagram. We have a never ending chore of looking for universal truths spread through all religions and the five points of wisdom and protection.

I'm pagan, but I don't subscribe to any of the 'fashionable' branches.
The only symbol I use is a small livewood pendant from a hazel tree who taught me a great deal.

I use a variety. The triple moon (maiden, mother, crone), the triquera (for the same reason), the pentacle, A 5band ring, and then I have two tattoos that are also linked to my faith. One is my mandela and the other is my confirmation (to use a catholic term).

As a Libra, I have a kanji (chinese writing) on my arm from the "I Ching"; a form of tarot taught with coins. It translates towards virtue #52 (double mountain): The Standstill/Quieting one's heart. I believe that spiritual balence is a noble gift; as is wisdom.
