A real wolf-like monster prowling the Auvergne and South Dordogne areas of France during the years 1764 to 1767, killing about 100 people, often in bizarre circumstances. Every effort to stop her failed and she became nationally infamous. The King - Louis XV - took a personal interest, one reason being the unrest she caused in an area of religious/political tension and potential revolution. Many explanations - mutant, prehistoric beast etc. - were put forward at the time and during the two centuries since but none has ever been generally accepted. The important firm fact is that sufficient evidence remains to prove La Bête really did exist and was not just a myth. Among all the popular monster mysteries she is unique - she left behind one hundred bodies proving herself real and guilty beyond doubt.

Has anyone else heard about this?

I have been in a bit of bad "karma" luck lately with my life. It is now getting to the point where I don't even want to leave the house,but it is not that bad but almost.
This has been happening since January 12th of this year ,I have seen signs that it might be leaving but the bad "vibes" or luck is still around I know it is.
When good "karma" comes around how long will it stay? Does anyone have any clues .
I am trying to maintain a good sense of humor about this and maybe I can laugh it off,but I just don't know anymore.
It has been really bad things,money,job,personal life,friends,relationships..family,everything at once..including physical ailments as well,costly too.
I am even afraid to go to the mailbox wondering what is next.
I feel like I am playing a video game with my life shooting the bad guys and as in video games,I usually end up losing. What should I do?
p.s. I am not really shooting ,it is just a play on words.

have any one heard about this story in japan or one of these asia countries,that there is this sea that attracts everythings that crosses right through it,people,airplanes ,boats and stuff and when u are taken noones hears from u anymore u are vanished?i mean gone for ever is this true?i hneard about it a long tyme ago bt just heard it again recently and starting to take it serious they even said plane routes have changed because that sea but is this true?

When I was little, we lived in a rundown shack, and one night, i struggled to sleep, which had never happened because I usually fell right asleep...but I stayed awake for who knows how long.

I lay on my back staring at the door frame, and I see a little Scottish dog come in...
You know when you look at a bright light too long and you close your eyes and you see those blue squiggles? Well, he was 'made' of that, outlined with it, and he moved in jerky motions, like an old cartoon or something.
Anyways he ran to the side of the bed, jumped on my stomach and then dissapeared! People have always told me I was dreaming, but I have never forgotten that night.

Can anyone tell me what the dog was, or why he came to me...
or tell me if I'm nuts!!

In severel different books ( Hotel Pastis, The Queen's Fool ) the main characture got his/her thumb bitten, the fleshy part at the base of the thumb, between the thumb and the index finger. They said something about it was where gypsies and fortune tellers bite you to see if you're "ready for love".
I've never heard of this. Has anyone else and do you know any history on it?

Wouldn't you be a little concerned? I couldn't help but ask in shock, What is that on your back? Then I sort of left before he would answer. I mean many of us study these arts and even practice, but how many of us go so far as to have a plate-sized pentragram inked into our bodies?
After this incident, I experienced a hostile visitation in my home. I made the proper defences and it left. Now we are sort of wary of each other at work but civil.
It's just a shock, that's all. Wouldn't you be a bit surprised? It's always a shock to find someone else who studies these things.
I would like to ask him why he has it, but I don't really want to encourage him. At least it's pointing the right way up!
Oh, and this boy is actually a hunchback. I am serious. Just odd, that's all.

I was tired so I decided to go to bed early. Then all of a sudden the ghost of Lizzie Borden comes flying down from my ceiling. I tried to ignore her and go back to sleep, but then she started walking around my room and talking really loudly. Then she started burning clothing of some sort in my trash can. I lost my temper then and told her to get the eff out of my room, and now she's chasing me around my room with an axe. I am on the verge of tears I am so terrified. I have no idea what to do. I tried to run out of my room, but the ghost of Lizzie Borden must have put up some kind of force field outside the door, because when I tried to leave the force field tossed me across the room and I slammed against the wall. She's still chasing me and if she catches me she will kill me. I am crying. What do I do? I asked her why she's doing this and she said it's because it's my time of the month and she's drawn to the scent of my blood. I'm crying. Someone please help!
