You have probably notice a great increase in interest in these things. This is new. When I was in the U.S. just 5 years ago people refused to serve me because I wore a pentacle.

Vampires have been made trendy by Anne Rice and her series. This blended in well with the "rebel" Goth kids. Vampirism is very popular. It is "dark" and "evil" and all those things people think will shock. Some even believe they are vamps, but they are just kids playing in dangerous waters. Depression and angst are wonderful grease on the slide down to evil..

Witches. They are everywhere. TV shows, sitcoms, Walt Disney, Harry Potter, movies. You cannot escape them and most of the TV shows are aimed at teen girls, younger girls.

Disneyland is partly responsible for this alteration of American consciousness. What is happening is this. There is a dark movement to ruin the American people. It strikes at your families and your religions. Disney was the first with Fantasia and the corporation has been warping young minds and spirits ever since.

If you think back, you will see a slow increase of things magical in the Disney movies and cartoons. Fairy Godmothers. Evil witches. See where I am going with this? Cartoons full of ghosts. Until then, only Casper had been cute. Disney created lots of cute ghosts even, likable and nice. Even the Ghost Buster gang was cute! Shape shifting is a shamanic thing that I know very little about. I do know that the dreamers and dancers and medicine men and visionaries of many native peoples would trance out and have a communion with their spirit guide/animal. That is it. Most Christians or Muslims would call this the work of Satan. How can it be the work of Satan when it was innocently done by the ancients who had no concept of the Devil? Whether you believe in the devil or not, you do know there is a spirit of evil in the world. This is what I call Satan. Not a figure or a person.

Suddenly North America is run over by psychics and writers and all things new age. What is New Age? It is the taking of bits and pieces of religions and making one. Kind of like the One world, new age thing. What happens is a people, Americans, lose their spiritual values that make them strong. Remember I am Muslim, but when you all were told no more saying prayers in school, that was the beginning of your spiritual decline.

In the 30's Aliester Crowley came to America to sew the seeds of Satanism, to start tearing down your country for those he served. He did very well. He is partly responsible for the creation of the Church of Satan which is heavily responsible for the degeneration of morals within the movie industry. Satanism is the grand daddy of the movement I speak of. That is why most of these supernatural things are dark and ugly. I do not speak of ghosts, that is a different story.

The media broadcasts these things relentlessly. The plan is well organized. They are making America ready to accept the Beast when he comes. If people are accustomed to Satanism, they will accept him better. This is why you see and hear more of these things. They are the signs of a sick society. Christianity as well as Islam forbid many of these things or deny their existence.

The origins of the Illuminati go back thousands of years when humanity created the games of secret societies, brotherhoods, orders, and religions for power and control.

All of these are based on FEAR - the emotion which has kept humanity trapped in the third dimension for eons.

By the way... Harry Potter is no accident. The author is a well educated highly placed witch herself and Harry Potter is meant to indoctrinate and loosen up children to the concept of witchcraft and wizardry from an even younger age.

The Illuminati controls Hollywood. They also are becoming so cocksure of themselves that they do not care if people know about them. This is a dangerous time for us all. Movies such as the DaVinci Code and most Nick Cage movies, Arnold, are ways to have the people make light of them, to trivialize the situation. They work very hard to satisfy those already on to them ("See I told you the Illuminati are real! It is in this movie!) And to create something to lure in the girls... into "innocent" Wicca. Watch for Illuminati symbols next movie you see. They will appear as corporate logos on product placement as well as built into the décor or blended into the shadows. There you have your answer. In my humble opinion. Anyhow, you got something to think about. Good question.

People have a natural curiosity about supernatural things. What I find ironic, however, is the surprising number of people who claim to be atheist, yet believe in ghosts, etc. Very odd....

Interesting question, especially when you lump in other supernatural things such as god(s).

A darwinist would say that such an interest confers some sort of survival advantage - but might have a hard time tying down exactly what sort of advantage.

in my opinion ghosts and spirits are "explanations" to things, events or happenings we can't ( or aren't able to) describe otherwise. something that seems to go beyond the accepted levels of rationale. just like the myths & superstitions that r now irrelevant. i think its just our ignorance.
and then thre's this fear of the UNknown that makes us believe so many things, do so many things. if v knew everything, do u think people would have the kind of "faiths" they have?

Because people are more open minded not so suppressed
People are experiencing spirits and not just brushing in under the carpet.
It is more open and excepted on TV, Magazine and Books as well
Mediums or Psychic's are excepted today you still have your closed minded people, but their curiosity must kick in sooner or later : )

It's the concept of something outside of ourselves, something bigger than ourselves. These things have power, power we either admire or wish to obtain.
