I'm spanish and I am finishing my project to obtain my degree in the University. I'm developing a web application to store, catalogue and download other projects (a tool for new alumns).

To gain more points on the final mark, I'm preparing the application to be multilanguage. For the presentation in the presence of the court (University teachers) I'm preparing the application in Spanish and English.

I've tried to translate it into English and I'd like to look for English people who have time to check it and look for grammar and syntax errors (both).

Is there anybody here with enought time to correct it?

Excuse me if my English isn't so good.

I think there is more than one "ebonics" at least two. There is black vernacular English which you here spoken in Hip Hop, ect. And then there is just Black English which has some rules that even black people themselves dont understand.

Black english is basically the english vocabulary fit into African idomatic structure (forgive me if this is over your head)

Here are some things black english has in common with many African languages

1. Invariant verb "to be"
-- Saying: I be, you be, we be (as opposed to I am, you are, we are)

2. Copula deletion
-- saying: what you talking about (as opposed to what ARE you talking about) also common in Arabic in russian languages.

3. non-pronunciation of dipthongs
-- dipthings are generally absent in African languages. So "that" becomes "dat" "three" becomes "tree" and "fifty" become "fitty"

So is so called "ebonic" a seperat language or a dialect?

Y puedes explicarme tus excusas.

(chorus).
He dicho buenas noches, intenté a dormir.

No seas desanimado, oh, yo entiendo
No tengas miedo a déjelos mostrar
Tus colores verdaderos, colores verdaderos
No tengas miedo a déjelos mostrar
Tus colores verdaderos, colores verdaderos
Hermoso, como un arco iris
Ojos tan tristes

Why do we say lieutenant the way we do, I understand the way the Americans say it but why do we say it 'leftenant'? This has puzzled me for a while now and although it isn't very important, I'd still like to know if anyone knows the answer or has any ideas!
