German is rusty. Just guessing now. Nifty or something neat. I think nieder is like under or down I think.

Well, to be quite honest I doubt it's a word.
You might wanna look into niedrich or some other word close to that.

Yeah, it means down something.... it's a certain dialect I guess, but it's not Hochdeutsch.
Example: Ist mir doch wurscht!.... this means: I don't care.

Could be "lowest", but you spell it a bit differently.
