i need some ideas what to give my man for valentines day...

Should i suggest a place to eat or let him handle it? what places should i suggest...?

Just wondering if anyone had any neat ideas for gifts for Valentines day/ an anniversary...My husband and I got married on Feb. 26th so we always celebrate the two together...I wanted to do something unique...Not just go out and get him a gift...I have a couple of ideas but i figured someone on here may have a better one...Just looking for something from the heart...unique with meaning...

Currently deployed to Korea, my wife and 2 kids are back in the states. We will be spending Valentines day (as well as every other holiday this year) away from each other like many other military families. Ok, Well I am looking for any and all ideas for a gift for my boyfriend of 3 years for valentines day, I always get stuck on what to give him for valentines day, any other holiday im fine with but let me give you a few facts about him and then im going to ask everyone to give me anything they can come up with..
He works at the post office so he dosent have to dress up much, he is 36 yrs old, very paticular on his clothes, not too interested in gadgets or things like that, not a video game person... well im going to let you all take it from here and i will pick the one that has the best answer and i really appreciate it alot.. thanks

I am gonna do something cool for my mom for valentines day and I just wanted to see what you think about it. also if you think of any other little thing I could also do to it thats cool. every year my mom and dad each take turns doing a suprise for each other each year and this year I too want to do something suprising for her, and I will also use the leftover chocolate and flowers to make something for my dad too. so, whats your opinion on this:

1.a few roses in a glass vase

2. a homemade low-carb smoothy

3. a homemade heart-shaped chocolate bar

4. some bath products

5. finally we get to the heart-shaped pillows

I'm not a huge fan of Valentines Day, certainly not a fan of card giving or overly cliché romantic things. However when you're in a relationship you're compelled to do something special, I'm trying to think of something to do with my boyfriend.

My initial thought was to go to a strip club, however I have never been to one before so I'd be worried about being uncomfortable and so spoiling things, going to a hotel might be another idea, but does anyone else have any other good suggestions for things to do on Valentines Day?

I have been seeing this guy for just over two mouths now. He got me something for Christmas and I really didn't expect it. It was a jean outfit from Ecko. I want to get him something for Valentines Day, but I'm unsure as to what. He has good/expensive taste, so there's no buying him anything from Wal-Mart. Ok, so I know usually, the guy buys the woman gifts for Valentines Day.
Is it expected (or typically done) for a woman to also give a gift to their guy? Or is this the day where the woman just receives?
