How about horseback riding?

Forgo the chocolates and flowers for a nice ride in the country. Depending on where you live you could be able to go through the snow-covered countryside!

Also try:

1) A vacation for the future
2) A promise
3) A cruise vacation
4) Stay in and make dinner, rent a movie, and cuddle

If you like to cook, fix her a special meal, and give her a special prezzie, maybe something she wanted for Christmas but did not get. Then, top off with candies.
As far as going out, I would ask her for ideas, or come up with something that would have her happy, based on what you know of her tastes.

Any time a massage is offered for a girl is a GREAT gift (from a massage therapist). If you were looking for something more of 'for the two' of you then try starting with a home cooked dinner, then a massage that you give her with soft music, candles, massage oils. Is that too cliche' ? Good luck!

Last year I wrote a list of 101 things I love about my girlfriend..... I then got a book and wrote a different reason on each page, I brought some confetti hearts and sprinkled then in the pages and wrapped it up in red tissue paper - and put it in a box with her present!

I left her to read it with a bottle of her favourite champagne whilst I cooked her dinner.......... She loved it because much more thought went into it.............

Take her shopping to for something that you know she will love and plan any kind of new and constructive activity together. Examples are sight seeing, volunteering together for noble causes, visiting a new spot in town, going out of town together, take her to a museum, or to the Zoo, or do something a bit adventurous like indoor rock climbing, go bike riding, skiing, etc.

maybe you could spend a day with her doing all her favorite things. like watch her fav movie, cook her fav meal, buy her fav flowers/perfume/book by her fav author. for my fiancee, i bought a really nice wooden box and lots of heart shaped bits of card - and on the back of each heart i wrote a differant reason why i loved him. then i filled it with fresh rose petals. he really loved it - i'm sure your girlfriend will appreciate it too, it shows that your willing to put some effort into the relationship. good luck.

Take her out to supper and have chocolate for dessert and buy her some form of jewelry - not necessary a ring - maybe a nice watch or necklace/bracelet/etc - have fun whatever you two do!@~

You can make her a coupon book with different coupons. example:Good for one foot rub, good for one night on the town, good for one romantic homemade dinner, good for one candle lit bubble bath, good for one picnic, good for one day of pampering etc. And take her to her favorite place to eat, or make her dinner. Flowers and candle light are always nice. And maybe get her something special she has had her eye on. (perfume, sunglasses, jacket etc.)
