Or is it strictly a "female" holiday?

I gave my boyfriend a gift last year and some have told me that you don't give men gifts on Valentines Day.

What do you think?

Tell me your story.

Yes, I have always given my boyfriend a gift on Valentines. It is hard to find a gift for a man for Valentines so the first year I brought him a box of chocolate and made him a basket full of cookies (that I baked) and candy. The second year to the present I have given him cologne, a CD that he wanted, and a watch. ). But Valentines day is a day to give gifts to the people that you love and care about. Everyone deserves a gift!

I give my boyfriend gifts on Valentine's day. Usually a card, teddy bear, and a box of chocolate. There is nothing wrong with giving guys gifts for Valentine's Day.

I just find something that has special meaning to both of us. Like a few years ago I bought the DVD that was the movie we saw on our first date. He loved it, and made the connection immediately. It all depends on they guy you are with too, and his expectations of the relationship. Don't listen to what other people tell you when it is YOUR relationship.
Good luck!

I don't think it's a "female" holiday. Maybe do the homemade coupon book thing, and make him "special" coupons for things he might enjoy (sexual favors, backrubs, or whatever). Maybe suprise him with his favorite movie, beer and a pizza. You could also get him his favorite cologne, or a nice shirt.

F that. I think Valentine's Day and Sweetest Day should be for everyone - not gender specific.
