I want to buy my neighbors something for the holidays, or take something to their house as a nice gesture on Christmas Eve. I am not going to be doing any baking this year. But I just want to extend a nice gesture to two neighbors/families. Any ideas ??
They both have children 5 and under.

Question: Holidays Blues?

Question Details: I have a couple of friends who have fallen victim to the Holiday Blues. Despite my attempts to generally cheer them up, I don't seem to have been very successful. We are all single, with family away. I know this is extremely common with Christmas and New Year around the corner. I love the holidays, and I know that all the parties can be depressing when mostly everyone has a date. I'm looking for a few good cheer up suggestions that I haven't thought of yet. And, for those of you who look for something derrogatory to say, neither my friends or I are social misfits, we are just normal, everyday single women and men, who for the most part have a very active, satisfying life, and happen to be single.

Merry Christmas to everyone!

Is there anyone out there who, if I passed you in the street and said "Merry Christmas", would you be offended? Even if you don't celebrate it, it still exists.
People don't make this big a deal out of, say, St. Patrick's Day. Nobody says "Happy Spring Season" or something like that on St. Patricks day. So why do they make such a big deal about Christmas!
If you would be offended if I said "Merry Christmas" to you, please reply.

I always believed that who you kissed is who you will spend the rest of the year with and be happy. Is this completely wrong?

REMEMBER THIS AT CHRISTMAS TIME
According to the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, while both male and female reindeer grow antlers in the summer each year, male reindeer drop their antlers at the beginning of winter, usually late November to mid-December. Female reindeer retain their antlers till after they give birth in the spring. Therefore, according to EVERY historical rendition depicting Santa's reindeer, EVERY single one of them, from Rudolph to Blitzen, had to be a girl. We should've known... ONLY women would be able to drag a fat-*** man in a red velvet suit all around the world in one night and not get lost.
