I always believed that who you kissed is who you will spend the rest of the year with and be happy. Is this completely wrong?

We kiss those dearest to us at midnight not only to share a moment of celebration with others, but also to ensure that those affections and ties will continue throughout the next twelve months. To fail to smooch our significant others at that time would be to set the stage for a year of coldness.

I was told by my mother that whatever you are doing on New Year's Eve, you will be doing all year, so I am sure to kiss the people I love so that I'll be kissing them all year!!

Romantic thought! Could be hold some merit. However take care that a close relative does not sneak a quick peck on the cheek. This would not create an acceptable relationship...sorry just feeling a little silly.
