Other - Holidays - December 2006

Both my side and my husband's side of the family are doing Yankee swaps for Christmas. It is a per person set up, so we each bring a gift to each event, a total of 4 grab gifts. The money limit is $25.

Any ideas on something fun and original to bring?? I know there's always gift certificates and candles and stuff like that, but I wanted to come up with something really great.

We live out of town from the rest of the family and every year we drive and drive on Christmas Eve, stay over night, then drive home on Christmas Day, then Boxing Day we have to drive hours in the opposite direction to visit extended family. Not to mention we have another extended family party to drive out of town for on the 23rd. I want to break tradition and tell my family I want to stay home for Christmas Eve and Boxing Day, but I don't want to hurt their feelings! Please advise!

If so what kind of bow?? I don't really bother cause they just get knocked of the present when we are in the car delivering them. Only on some of them.
