i am too young to drive, and i don't have money, so i can't buy a christmas present. what are some ideas for a good homemade present for my parents?

I would like to make baked goods to send to loved ones, but am not sure which ones keep the best in time to get there (with priority mail or the like) and can be enjoyed still soft and chewy to Christmas.

Suggestions are great, I can look up recipes, but recipes are welcome, too.

I need some new recipes for x-mas candy. I dont want to make just the traditional fudge, etc. Does anyone have something that they've made and is a tradition at x-mas??? have 15 girl scouts and 2 assistant leaders. Needless to say, I am not able to spend much. I am throwing a party next Tuesday for the troop but since I gave gifts last year I am afraid the girls (ages 7-9) will expect them again this year.

What small gifts could I give the scouts and what could I give my two assistants?

When I was young the family would get together and make the christmas candy and string popcorn on thread and have a taffy pull to make that most delightful taste of real taffy.
