None! But the new employer gave everybody a Christmas gift, and a nice dinner, which is two more things than I got from the last job! And a supervisor came and watched the patients so we could go to the party, which never has ever anyone done that!
The first real job I ever had, I got a NICE present, the first year it was a coffee maker, got a party with the bosses doing some singing for entertainment, a small bonus, and candy canes, and holiday pay for working the holiday, or the day off, and a free meal if I worked the holiday. And that place still does all of that, though the present is more like a pizza stone, than a coffee maker.
My Dad never got anything, except the holiday off[post office worker]. My former job threw everyone's name in a box, and drew out some names, and those people got a gift certificate. No party, just a free meal on Christmas day, if you worked days or eves. and it was not special, just the usual stuff. And they did not always do the gift certificate thing.
So enjoy the umbrella, and lucky to get something! Merry Christmas!
PS, was the umbrella green? You could always decorate it for Xmas! Hang ornaments from it, just do not let any one from work see it. LOL.

A choice between a $50 gift card to Giant or the Honey Baked Ham store. And a Christmas party.

We didn't get a Christmas bonus this year. It's a new office and we haven't quite gotten up to speed yet.
I don't expect a bonus, though, because they pay well and we get merit raises whenever we show that we've earned them; not just once a year.
I still have my job and it's very secure. I'd call that a bonus all on its own!

No X-mas bonus, just a stupid potluck, but since I went into work after Thanksgiving I got first dibs on time off for Christmas. So I'll get a four day weekend.

Great question! It's fun reading everyone's response. I'm temping so I don't think I'll be getting any bonus this year. I'm just really thankful that I have a job that covers my living expenses!
Happy holidays!
