Halloween

I have been asked to come up with a theme for a friend's hen party. She doesn't want anything too tacky as she is a primary school teacher! Any ideas? xx

I am a mother looking for ideas, I have a 9 year old son and a 4 year old daughter. And every year there is this costume contest. Usually my kids will win individual prizes but not as a family and i would really love to get it this year. Please help us out.

Ok, I love halloween and I like to make my costume really early. I'm 21 years old, 6ft5in, 220lbs, and hairy. I like to utilize my build for a costume. Last year I was Hagrid and it turned out really great. What could I be for Halloween this year? There's no theme as of yet for the bash. I would prefer it to be an actual character and preferably a horror/dark costume.

Also, no Jason, Michael, or leather face ideas (believe me, I've thought of that)

ok for halloween me & my friend r thinking about being each other lol

if not then i would be avril lavigne or the dead cheerleader that hot topic sells every year... they dont have it on their website at the moment

I am roman catholic and had gone to catholic school for my whole life. WHen i was in the 8th grade the banned us from wearing costumes to school because Halloween was a roman holiday that symbolized the devil.We usually would dress up to scholl,play all day , and then in the evening our school had an additional halloween party. They didnt take away the evening party but the took away the day of fun.Now although I kind of understand that it wasn't a catholic holiday, i think that Halloween now does not have the meaning it had back then. Back then people would give food to the devil to wear away demons..or something of that nature..now it's a day for kids to dress up and have fun. So i think it was wrong for the school to take that away from them. what do you think? ( note not all catholic schools do this)

it is coming up to the last day at school, and each year we make a costume theme, thisn year the seniors made the theme of "layering". now layering is a very broad theme, so what kind of stuff could i wear? also they are going to be giving out prizes to the people with the most layers, and to people with the wierdest outfit?, so please halp thanks
