Bat Girl - (This can be done Black OR Blue, so substitute for blue if you want wherever i say black)
Get a black long/short sleeve tee with the bat girl symbol on the chest (which is the same symbol as batman), it's easy to freehand with one of those puff-paint tubes, or acrylic and a small brush.
Wear a pair of those cheap black cottony gloves that kids wear during winter. They're like a buck.
Bat girl's cape is short, so make a black cape out of another teeshirt. Get some sharp scissors and have her put on a black tee. We're going to be cutting UNDER the collar, (we're using the collar of the shirt to keep the cape on). Starting in the front of the tee under the collar, cut left until you're just above the armhole, right at the side seam, then repeat with the right side.
Then cut back straight down on each side, cut all the way down until the whole front and side sections are off of the shirt. What we're going for here is to have the collar in tact with the whole back of the teeshirt still attached and hanging down in back-this is your cape.
If you have some black bycicle shorts, those will work. If not, wear as tight a pair of black pants as possible.
If she's got a pair of black heels, that would be best, but any black shoe will work.
The hood/mask will be the hardest part. Use the left over teeshirt fabric from making the cape. First you'll have to get 2 pyramid/triangular solid objects that are about 2 inches tall. If you have nothing laying around that sounds like that, cut them out of wood.
Tie yarn/string around them and create a kind of headband to secure them on her head where batman's/batgirl's ears are located on their head(s). Have the ears in place with the string tied to them, and tie the ends of the string under her chin (it might be umcomfortable) to secure.
Drape a large section of the fabric (the front of that remaining tee) over her head, while the 'ears' are still on her head. Line up an edge so it's just over her nose and covering her eyes with the rest of the material hanging back and down her back. Gather up the rest of the material behind her head and secure ot with a rubber band. Have it pulled tight enough so that the fabric is pulled tight to her head so that the ears are visable. Mark where the eye holes should be cut, then remove the hood and cut the eye holes. If the fabric in back gather with the rubber bacnd is too cheap looking for you, sew it up.
Well anywho you get the idea. This looks pretty good when your all said an done (I made it for my niece last year when she needed a costume the next day).
i know this may be kind of choppy, but it's as well as I could remember. Hope this helps

Umm if it was for school, I would suggest like a superwoman or a batwoman costume. If you are more of the seductive type, and if it wasn't for school may try pulling off a cat woman or wonder woman. Other ideas could be invisible woman, storm, she-hulk (Yes there is such a superhero), The Black Widow, Starfire, or saturn girl.

check out anniescostumes.com for ideas - there should be something in there you can copy easily (& cheap!) at home.
She could go as the daughter in the Incredibles or a Fantastic 4 character - just need tights & a matching shirt with graphics painted on. I've always thought the Wonder Woman costume was great - see if you can make that one.
My daughter was a mummy one year. I bought cheese cloth strips & put them in a pot of tea. They soaked it up & that made them look old & crumbly. She wore a flesh colored leotard & tights. I made a breastplate out of craft foam with glitter paint & big fake jewels & a headpiece of craft foam with a plastic snake stapled to the front of it! When you're ready, start wrapping her - stitch the bandages onto the tights & leotard (learn from my mistake, I stapled them on!!lol)
attach the breastplate at the shoulders with brads. Whne you wrap her face, have her put on bright lipstick first. I did my daughter's eyes in blue eyeliner with the lines drawn thick & bold, out to the corners. Thick coat of black mascara. Wrap so just her eyes are visible - it looks so good!! You don't have to worry about her hair, just cover it lightly with a wrap of gauze. OR she could go as a 50s bobbysox girl. Jeans rolled up to just under her knee, white bobbysox, saddle oxford shoes & a boys' oxford cloth shirt, sized big on her. Put her hair up in a ponytail, bright red lipstick. Don't forget to tie her ponytail with a sheer brightly colored scarf! Wrap her in a big white bedsheet, sorta make it look like a Roman toga, do some heavy makeup & make fake snakes to go in her hair - she's Medusa! Same toga, Egyptian makeup, she's Cleopatra! Lillian Vernon has a lot of Halloween costmes on
their web site, more inspiration. Or try a Colonial girl. Put her in a long flannel nightgown, put a white apron over it & give her a half finished American flag, you've got Betsy Ross.....
Hmmm, I'm not bad at this! Anyway, have fun with it & good luck!!!!!
EDIT: I just remembered you are looking for super heroes; never mind the last part!!! Sorry!!!! I got carried away.....

Halloween isnt really that close... but ok. Try mixing a bunch of super hero powers together and making your own super hero. Or just confuse everyone and go as batman or something.

Make up your own super hero.Give her a look and a good name, not to mention a super power. Have fun with and dont stress it out.Halloween is a day where you can dress up and not be yourself for a day.So dont worry about it.
