I am going to a mad hatter party and looking for costume ideas. I'm female with short brown bobbed hair, I don't want to go as the Queen of hearts. Any ideas, the more original the better!!

If you wanted to go as Alice, you could wear a simple blue dress with a white pinafore over that, white stockings & black mary-jane shoes. Put a blue ribbon in your hair to match the dress - the decision to get a blonde wig or go natural would be up to you. The Cheshire cat in the Disney movie was striped & pretty cool looking - see if you could find a t-shirt in those colors or make your own using fabric paints - get your tail & ears & decorate them to match - it would be so cool if you could make a papier-mache mask of the Cheshire cats' face with the big white-toothed grin.......Look at the stuff in hobby shops & see what's available! Or try the Mock Turtle or the Walrus - either of those would be recognizable to Alice fans......Have fun!!!
