Would you rather them attend a function in your own neighbourhood, school or church etc? Why do we teach our kids that taking from a stranger is not okay but on Halloween it is a different story, especially when it is a lot harder to track down where it came from, seeing as it is all thrown together.

I wanna go to a party on halloween in the Detroit metro area in Michigan. Do you have to be invited or can you just drop by one when you see one. I think it would be fun to see something like that, cause we don't celebrate Halloween in South Africa. Do you know of any parties in these areas? Where can I look to find them? Thanks in advance.

Is it a trick or a treat. I am going to be doing a teaching on it and I would like all kinds of opinions. From Pagan to Christian to see what it is truly about.

Where I live in Sydney Australia, it's a little dissapointing. A few kids go trick or treating but no one does any decorating. When I lived in Ireland in Co. Clare they had a few houses that decorated and trick or treaters. Thanks! ; )

I'm going trick or treating so I'll be walking down the streets so I really don't want to wear heels. This is my costume.

I told my sister boys were much more knowledgeable about sports than girls and she didn't think so, so we made a bet that the person who could pick the most sports games correctly could choose the others haloween costume, she won. She said i have to be a girl of some sort. I'm a small twelve year old boy who hasn't been through puberty yet. She couldn't decide what I should wearso she told me to ask yahoo answers for suggustions on what I should be and where to make me look most girly. She's leaning toward princess, not disney princess, real princess and would like to know some good tips. Money is not a matter my family is probably going to by the best brand new thing they can find of what you choose.

Halloween was my favorite holiday when I was little (and I still enjoy it). It was never really about the candy for me, although it was a nice bonus. I loved figuring out my costume, and carving the pumpkins, and going house to house and seeing what the neighbors were trying to scare us with!

My boyfriend and I were Samuel Adams and St Paulie Girl last year. But this year he hasn't liked any of my ideas better than that one. Does anyone have any good couple ideas?

Some things he has considered (but is not as excited about) are:

Nefertiti and King Tut
Cleopatra and Marc Anthony
Twenties gangsters

Alright, my friends and I (we are now all seniors in high school) did this haunted driveway thing last year on my driveway (it's about 900 ft long and surrounded by woods). In about two days we set it up, and had our fun as we scared probably about twenty people (I know, only twenty). After we did it we realized it could have been so much more, and could have benefited our class or some charity.

Therefore this year we want to do it again, but better than last year. That is why I'm asking you guys for advice on some scary things we can do. I'm not talking about corny scary, but seriously freaky (not gruesome, but people popping out of nowhere, etc.).

Last year we...
- had people pop out of the woods
- had a kid light his hand on fire (wd-40 + a welding glove)
- two kids with chainless chainsaws
- masks and scary costumes galore
- attempt at murder scene seen through a strobe light
- dummy dropping out of tree

If you have any ideas then please let me know
