Where I live in Sydney Australia, it's a little dissapointing. A few kids go trick or treating but no one does any decorating. When I lived in Ireland in Co. Clare they had a few houses that decorated and trick or treaters. Thanks! ; )

In my country Philippines, we celebrate all souls day and all saints day in November 1 & 2. All roads lead to the cemetery to visit the tombs of our loved ones. We want them to know that they are still in communion with us, at least in our prayers and memory. We pray for them and share our food among our kins and friends. There is a whole night merrymaking, some play charades and other games, others stay the nights with bouts of drinks along with videoke and karaoke or magic sing. On the 3rd day, everybody goes back to life routines, as the cemetry is left clear and everybody awaits christmas next.

We all celebrate differently some decorate, give candy to trick or treaters, take their kids trick or treating, some go to churches and have trunk or treating, some take their children to churches festivals, some go to haunted houses, and some just ignore the holiday all together.
I think here it is a holiday that some people would open to debate. Because some think it is just a day of fun and others think that it is an evil holiday, and others think it is a religious day. Its open to all kinds and Halloween could start up some serious debating.

In the US..lots of people go all out for Halloween. I have a cemetary I set up and flashing skull lights and more! I AM the queen of Halloween.

Where I am, there is no scheduled time for trick or treating. Kids go on Halloween night not 3 days before at 4 in the afternoon. Thats just silly!

Oh...and I howl to the moon at midnight.

Here the children go trick or treating but I could see why some countries would not be a big supporter of this holiday because here, in America there is a scheduled time for trick or treating now because the streets are not safe for our children and it is sad that you have to check your child's candy for razors and poison. Why should parents have to taste test the candy? And why should there be a time limit on going door to door to get free goodies. The holiday is for the children and they can hardley even enjoy it anymore.

Where I live we don't decorate too much. Actually the stores are so overrun with Christmas stuff already that Halloween kinda gets put on the back burner.'

I too live here in Sydney. I'm glad that not many people do anything for Halloween. Just because it's big in other areas of the world doesn't mean we should automatically follow suit.
