Sonny and Cher
Dorothy and the tin man or scrarecrow. Better yet...one of the flying monkeys!
The fruit of the loom guys..purple ballons(the grape) and cut out brown leaves (the fig dude)...of course it would be fun to have the apple~got a friend?
Siamese Twins~ in one large pair of pants and huge shirt
Nun with a ruler, & him dressed as a naughty student, knickers and suspenders(have to whack him with the ruler and give him a time out!)
Bonnie and Clyde~fedoras, zuit suits and tommy guns and a bag full of funny money
Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton~gray and disinguished beard and Dolly in her fullest moments, wig and all!
I always like the original ones that show creativity and imagination! Anyone can go to the costume rental place and hop into one.

Adam & Eve?

My hubby once waited until the last minute and did not get a costume. We draped him in a white sheet, put an ivy wreath on his head & he got TONS of compliments that night. The costume cost us $0 b/c it was things we already had.

Try buycostumes.com for ideas.

I saw one once where the male was a plug. You know like an electrical plug. Not the whole wire, but just the part you plug in. And the female was an outlet. I thought that was funny.

If you are "close" to each other, swath yourself together in red cloth. Cut a jagged peek/bite whole out of the middle and add green foilage/branch to the top, Eve - Adam.
