Halloween

What's perfect to you? What or who do you plan to dress up as this year? Why? I'm looking for unique responses. I may or may not steal your idea. =P

I'm having a difficult time thinking up a costume idea.. because I mean, everything's so unoriginal. I don't know. Most of the time, I sit back and watch everyone and laugh at the girls who use Halloween as an excuse to dress up like a whore.

Help me people! If you don't have any original ideas, just tell me about your plans for celebrating Halloween this year. =]

My halloween costume this year is pretty original, but not very creative. To make up for that, when anyone asks me what I am on Halloween night, I ask them this riddle:

"When the sun Is very bright, I hide behind you from the light.
I am with you every day, there's no where else for me to stay
and as long as you can see me I will never ever leave.
I am darkness made from light..."

I am almost thirteen years old now, and I need a Halloween costume. I want something I can make at home with the stuff I already have ( or just buying little stuff). Last year I was a pirate girl, but now I don't know what to do. I was thinking a cowgirl ( i have boots and stuff) but I'm not sure exactly what to put together so if you could help with that too. I also think it would be cool if I could be a evil fairy or something like that, but I really want a SUPER cute costume. I don't really want something SCARY but more like pretty scary or not scary at all. Well thats about alll i can think about saying....

Husband and I have been invited to a adult (no kids) halloween party and need to find costumes. We have never been to costume party for adults only. Question is, what is appropriate for adults only? We don't want to pick something very g-rated and have everyone else wear more of an adult themed costume and feel out of place. We also don't want to show up with something too sexy that we also feel out of place. Any suggestions that kind of fall in the middle?

I want to look sexy but not desparate (so not, for example, a bunny girl). But I do want to look attractive. What do you think I should wear? I am uk size 8-10, so I think that is U.S size 6-8 I'm not sure. As to themes, its all good. If you find a link that shows what you're talking about all the better.
