I am almost thirteen years old now, and I need a Halloween costume. I want something I can make at home with the stuff I already have ( or just buying little stuff). Last year I was a pirate girl, but now I don't know what to do. I was thinking a cowgirl ( i have boots and stuff) but I'm not sure exactly what to put together so if you could help with that too. I also think it would be cool if I could be a evil fairy or something like that, but I really want a SUPER cute costume. I don't really want something SCARY but more like pretty scary or not scary at all. Well thats about alll i can think about saying....

Halloween is my absolute favorite holiday! I try not to buy much of anything except for the supplies I need to make my costumes and props for haunting my house.
I like the idea of the evil fairy!!! It has so many possibilities.
You could make yourself look devilish and sexy, while looking cute and sassy all at the same time.
For this I would consider getting a red silk pajamma/ camisol type/slip~ you know what the hell I mean.... You could probably get one at kmart for under 10 bucks or even get one at a thrift store. Take some scissors and make jagged cuts at the bottom edge of the "dress".
Pick up some sexy red stockings, maybe with a fire patttern on them or some other cool type of pattern...
Either lace up ballerina shoes or heels. (Ballerina shoes would be more comfortable and you could use regeular shoes and just ties shoe laces around your calves to make them appear as ballet shoes... spray painting them the same color)
Get a Wicked choker for your neck
Glitter makeup for your face and body glitter for your arms and shoulders....
Regular Craft glitter in your hair
For the Wings you can either buy a pair at kmart or walmart or you can make your own easy enough by using craft wire, panty hose, spray paint and sparkling glitter... oh and you'll need elasatic too to hold them on.

how about the magician's rabbit in a hat. white jogging suit and rabbit ears bunny tail.for the hat you have to be a little creative
use black poster board make a tube the top hat and cut a circle to fit around the tube as the brim. step in add some string on to hold it over your shoulder (won first prize)
another one i used for my kids a hippy type ghost white sheet decorated with all kinds of peace signs flower power add a long colorful wig and some beads or a 50's car hop waiter with rollerskates from american graffiti
good luck and just look around at the different costumes and let your imagination run wild

We seemed like we were always short of cash for Halloween costumes, so here are some of the things we did: One year an accident victim complete with rolled gauze on the head and arm sling. (Just what you have in medicine cabinet) (dont forget the fake blood) Another year was a hunter ( girls hunt here) my husband had all the gear. Another year a nurse (a very wicked nurse with blood and black mascara eyes) I'm a nurse and had all the gear for daughter. another year my daughter just cleaned out a pumpkin and put on her head and wore a sheet. Everyone liked that one. another year her and a friend went as a box of Tide and she was the laundry basket complete with socks hanging on side of basket and boxer shorts on her head. hope this helps or gives you ideas about other possibilities.

Be a sim!! You know... like from the sims! Someone i know did that last year and it came out pretty cool. She made a little green diamond thing to put over her head and dressed up like a sim.
Or you could be a pajama freak... lol
