My wife wants us to switch roles for halloween party! Her to go as a man and me as a woman. how far should i go with this?

All the way meaning wear a short skirt or dress and shave your legs! Put on a wig and wear makeup, it'll look sexy :) I've seen a lot of men dress up as nurses, with fake boobs and everything! maybe you should try it !

It all depends how conformable you feel when you dress up like a women
I feel HALLOWEEN is dressing up like what no body ever seen before.
Dress up what you wont to wear in front of your friends.
