He likes the colts, movies, and electronics. 100 max. I would like the gift to be something that will wow him, something that will be near and dear to his heart.

He is an engineer (early 40's). All I know about him is that he is a big fan of soccer and camping.

Thank you

I can't decide because a real tree has been shipped on a truck or other vehicle probably for miles and miles, so it's contributing to pollution that way, but fake trees are made in a factory and... well... you know factories aren't good for the Earth. Which one is better? And oh yeah I forgot, you can use a fake tree over, but if you keep buying real trees, it will have to be shipped every year to the place... which is better! And I buy them already cut, so it's not like the tree's been there forever and it was grown there... HELP!

...to listen to the Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols from the chapel of King's College, Cambridge, on the radio? I know there may be time difference/availability issues here....but I wondered if anyone else will be listening to it....I am sure I will! King's College is not more than a mile from my house....but it is such a popular service...and we have never fancied standing in the queue for hours to get a seat! So, I will be listening on the radio.

Christmas can be so expensive... there are so many presents to buy and in the end, most items are cheaper after December 25th. This year, to save money, I shopped early and hit all the sales before the rush. My husband and I talked about doing something different next year: celebrating Christmas after the 25th...perhaps on December 30-31st. Boxing day sales might enable us to buy wicked presents at a lower price. Has anyone done that before?

or have you gone completely digital (i.e. email, on-line cards etc)?

And have the number of real cards you receive in the mail gone down over the years?

I feel that I am a generous person at Christmas and throughout the year with donations. My girlfriends get together and for Christmas this year it was decided that we would not do the elephant exchange. However the person's who's house it is at has asked that we bring a toy for Toy Mountain in lieu of exchanging. I really don't feel like doing this. I already donate money at my place of work to buy gifts and food, as does my husband at his place of employment. We also donate to another function we go to and on top of it I always ensure I bring a large amount of toys to the Humane society. I just don't want to also be donating here how do I not do this and not look like a smuck infront of my friends?

Do you find yourself hiding special presents that you don't want to put under the tree from your little ones or some other family members in the family, becuase they are too big to wrap, so do you find yourself putting them under beds and places where you think they won't find them.

I don't know what to buy the man. He is so nit picky about everything and very critical at times. Please offer suggestions if you can. I KNOW. I KNOW. If's the thought that counts, right? Well, I don't know what his thoughts are going to be.

I have decide to Gift a personalized and dedicated website to my Girlfriend!! Am I weird?

I read that Google is launching its BETA version of "Gift a Website.com" Next week!?

How would you like to be offered a Website with a real Internet Name (Ex: www.MariaSmith.com) For Christmas?

1. She won't ever have to pay anything (I am going for the Lifetime subscription ($999.95!)
2. The control panel is "For Dummies" (Add text / Blog / Videos / Pictures / Etc.)

Would you like that as a Gift for Christmas?

Remember the older one with the "Holidays Are Coming" and the truck comes over the hills with Santa on the side of it I prefered it to the newer one.

Who else agrees?

Raised it since it was a chick and has become part of the family.
I have decided when Christmas comes we will have no nonsense and have him for dinner. He will sit on the right of me and enjoy the meal.
