I've heard you can send the letter to Santa Claus, North Pole. I've heard conflicting reports about whether or not you will receive a response.
Have a Merry Christmas!

Part of the mystery is not getting a response (in my opinion). That contributes to the excitement of wondering what Santa will bring. Santa is so busy with his elves making toys that he reads letters, but doesn't respond.
You can respond if you like. Just put the return address as Santa Clause, North Pole.

I wrote a letter to santa years ago, I got a goodie bag from the post office. Just use one of the above addresses people have given and put a return adress. Or write it yourself.

If you go to the above website it gives you instructions. This is true, not a joke, but I think you might be too late for this year as they get so many letters. If you're in time, you'll be able to get a letter from Santa, which will be actually postmarked from the North Pole.
Good luck!

You can send it to a local non-profit organization (Boys and Girls Club, etc.) with a stamp enclosed and a nominal donation and I BET your son will get a response from Santa.

Children wanting to write to Santa should put their letter in an envelope and affix either a 1st or 2nd class stamp, please address to Santa at:
Santa/Father Christmas,
Santa’s Grotto,
Reindeerland,
SAN TA1.
Santa is extremely busy at this time of year, so please post your letter before 11th December to give him time to respond. Santa will try to respond to as many letters as possible.
Merry Christmas

send it to north pole first and go with him to the post office. Next, you type up a letter in a scripted font and give it to him. but remember you have to wait a bit like a week before x-mas.
