Raised it since it was a chick and has become part of the family.
I have decided when Christmas comes we will have no nonsense and have him for dinner. He will sit on the right of me and enjoy the meal.

I was going to say 'only if you have him as a guest', but you beat me to it.
I remember when I was 6, my Gran raised pigs and chickens. We sat down to eat our dinner and my Dad said, 'Nice bit of pork, your Joey'
I realised then that we were eating the piglet I had befriended and named Joey. Until that point I really hadn't given much thought to where meat came from, but I instantly became a vegetarian. Still am, too. I'm sure your turkey pal will enjoy his Christmas dinner, with some extra greens and special treats.
Happy Christmas.
Mwah :-)

Before I read the last sentence I was going to say no way. But after reading the entire paragraph I see that u want to have him sit at the table with the rest of ur family...cool. I thought you wanted to eat him and I was like ummm, NO...lol.

Funny Question!!!
Merry Christmas ☺

I was going to say no, you can't eat a pet! But I see you're having him for dinner in the same way you have relatives for dinner - very nice for him. But it might have to be a vegetarian meal.

:o)

Hey PS - nice name!

Very good,

AT LAST someone with a developed sence of humour.

Don't forget to get him a booster seat otherwise he'll miss all the fun.

I have a pet turkey too, and she's lonely because her partner died. Can she come to yours for dinner too?
