No i have not celebrated Christmas on another day. Just celebrate Christmas on the day and give presents afterwords that way you don't miss out on the magic of our baby Jesus being born, after all Christmas is about celebrating more than giving presents. Good luck shopping and try on shopping for next year.

We have never done that before since my family is really into Christmas, but this year we are actually considering this because we are low on Christmas funds. It is so true that everything is cheaper after the 25 so we will be able to buy a hell of a lot more than we usually would. This just takes away from the Christmas spirit though of waking up on Christmas morning and running to the tree and all the excitement. It also takes away from the real meaning of Christmas which people tend to ignore. The fact that we have Christmas to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ and exchange gifts on his behalf. But given that we don't have any small children right now that Christmas morning would be critical to and the fact that I am older myself, we are going to exchange gifts after Christmas, but still have Christmas dinner and celebrate it on the 25. Without the gifts :-( The best part! Life is about sacrifice though, through it all I hope you still have a Merry Christmas! :-)

I have never done this..
But with the amount of presents me and my mum have to buy for the whole of our family, would be much better and come out a lot cheaper.
But I think It would be quite hard to get used to do that . After all, celebrating Christmas on the 25th has always been the tradition.
But great Idea :)

yes i get your point but wats the point of celebrating christmas after christmas?
u can celebrate christmas on christmas day but hold on to the presents till 31st. as in, give out presents on the 31st instead of 25th. u can buy those presents later instead of buying it before xmas.
theres a trick. place wrapped empty boxes under ur tree on xmas day n put real presents when uve bought them.
my parents used to do this but pls dont say u wana celebrate xmas after 25th.then there is no meaning for the birth of jesus christ.
good luck

I haven't ever celebrated Christmas solely after the fact. I have celebrated without spending a dime on gifts before. Christmas isn't about material things.

Many Times...
We would buy 'some' gifts before xmas...
Xmas day and night it would be dinner at home and then the few night afterwards it was going to different family members...
worked out for us since they didnt expect their gifts till between the 26th to the 30th of December.
Plenty of time to go shopping for bargains.

i've never done that before, but thats a good idea. But wouldn't it be kind of strange to celebrate christmas on a different day? it's celebrated on the day that it is for a reason.

I shop for many gifts right after christmas for the following year. Many of the gifts are holiday related but they are usually 75% off right after xmas.
