...to listen to the Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols from the chapel of King's College, Cambridge, on the radio? I know there may be time difference/availability issues here....but I wondered if anyone else will be listening to it....I am sure I will! King's College is not more than a mile from my house....but it is such a popular service...and we have never fancied standing in the queue for hours to get a seat! So, I will be listening on the radio.

I live in Cambridge itself. We will probably go to church either at midnight on Christmas Eve or later on Christmas morning.

I am sure the service is carried in some parts of the USA....and quite possibly other parts of the world as well...although I am not sure about specific places.

Does it air on satellite? With the time difference it may be a nice change to listen to while we gather that afternoon. We are just us 3 girls that day...my mother, my daughter and myself preparing for evening services here and the Christmas day parties.

comparable right here - we are Sicilian. the two I make the fish one by one or in a sauce Sopa De pesci. I make handmade Cannoli and or Sfengi. Christmas day is crammed roast beef and crammed shells or lasagna. shall we no longer forget New Years eve - handmade pizza and sausage bread to have at mid evening.

Yeah, then afterwards I'll be parading down the Mall starkers but for a carefully placed Biscuit Barrel and a pair of Stiletto heels

Sounds enjoyable. Alas, I don't think I'll be able to listen to the service, since I'm in North Carolina!

Hah! I live in Cambridgeshire. Yea, my grandma's most likely to get the whole family to sit down in front of the tv so we'll watch it.
